Man oh man! The days are fast and the weeks are even faster!! I have been spending the past week trying to get into schedule, however it’s been a bit difficult because it’s been kinda rainy and cold… however, as I have heard from many locals, they are so excited for this weather because of how hot it gets here!! I’m so excited!!! Come on, I wanna melt!!!! However, I have realized there are hella mosquitos and these little tiny frogs that will jump on you if you’re still enough while sitting outside… I may or not may have screamed bloody murder the first time it happened. Scared the poor frog. So, with a not so tan body currently, mosquito bites all over my legs, I think I’m basically on the verge of living my best life?

I did however, get a chance to do some exploring the other day, downtown! As you know, I’m a huge history lover and I spent the day walking around, looking at all of the old churches and historical spots. I am so excited to live here and honestly even more excited to get things going again. Obviously that isn’t going to be happening for a while, HELLO COVID SPIKES! But… I really am looking forward to meeting new friends and people, gaining a community…
I’d argue that in college, I knew I wasn’t going to be staying in Fayetteville for the rest of my life, and while I absolutely adored my time there, I knew I was also leaving in just 4 short years. Something about a Charleston just hits different. Who knows if this is where I end up in the long run but it’s nice to think about if my future could be here.

Just a girl from the Midwest, moving to the low country, as we locals call it;) I can’t begin to explain to you how freaking happy I am to be here. I drive around and see the Spanish moss hanging off the trees, plan on visiting historical spots once they reopen fully, and just breathe in the air, tasting the salt of the ocean. I don’t even mind the humidity! It reminds me of home in Greece, plus my hair looks fantastic in it haha. It’s like I’m living in summer, all year around!! Let the adventures begin! (Just waiting on the sun to come out again!)

In just a week, I’ll be traveling to have a quick vacation with my family (although a beach vacation isn’t as special when you live on the beach) but I am excited to see everyone! Andddd in 14 days from now, my booty will be on the way to visit a special someone…. but, that story can wait till a later date!

Today’s Mantra:
“I AM trying to take everyday, one day at a time.”
Blessings, a

Baby girl💕
