This world is an INSANE place, but honestly right now, I’m happy. I’m enjoying the comfort that is around me right now. It’s fall in Fayetteville, starting with a thunderstorm that has lasted all day. This is my favorite time of year….. spooky season! I’m ready for it all. I’m currently snuggled in a furry blanket writing this, craving pumpkin pie….Get in my belly!

During the fall season, I find myself scrolling through my social media, seeing all the vibrant colors of mountains and wishing to myself, jeez, I wish I could pack up now and see it all for myself…. Soon enough, soul. The goal I have set for myself is patience. Giving myself grace and patience will go a long way in my life, whether in my relationships or my personal growth.

So, my boss got a new puppy (prepared to see MANY more photos of him!) and I am secretly obsessed with him. We go everywhere together and I am honestly a little heartbroken when I get off work and we have to leave each other. It’s yet another thing to be patient about. It’s nice having a little buddy who is small enough to sit in the front seat without me having to worry he’ll jump out the window at the first sight of a squirrel.

I have always liked fall because it is the just right amount of cold before I feel miserable. When I have to put away my sandals and dresses, that’s when I know it’s too cold but right now, Alexandra is a happy happy girl. I am so content with my life right now and honestly, don’t even care what life has to throw at me tomorrow (which is a good ole paper due! Woo!)

Had the best weekend with my California man, turning him into a hog fan one woo pig sooie at a time…. I think it’s growing on him…..

Please everyone go see A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper (my husband) and Lady Gaga (also the love of my life). It was so beautiful that Jesse and I were bawling our eyes out in the middle of the movie theater. Couple that cry during movies together, stay together. Amen.
