Well.
This was bound to happen sooner or later. It has been a helluva journey leaving my small town of Branson, Missouri to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. What can I say, I had an amazing freshman year of school and am now on my 5th week of my sophomore year. College and I were made for each other, baby. Ya girl is THRIVING. I am a philosophy major with a double minor in history and religious studies and let me tell you… I could not be any happier with my studies.

So, of course everyone changes a bit their freshman year of college.
What changed for me?

I got bangs, tattoos, piercings, made mistakes, learned lessons and fell more in love with my newfound life than I ever have with anyone or anything. I am so passionate about my studies that sometimes during lecture, I get a little teary eyed. If that isn’t passion, I don’t know what is.
So what do I want to do with my studies, you ask? My goal in life is to teach, learn, travel, and help others. My education and career choice gives me freedom that most can’t enjoy. I want to help others realize they matter. I would love to continue my education, most likely at the U of A. Speaking of my sweet sweet school…. I fell deep in love with it as soon as I stepped foot on campus. Without a doubt in my mind, it was probably the best decision I have ever made.

Tell me something. What is your cornerstone? What is your downfall? What makes you human? These are probably one of the first things I ask people. I want to be upfront. It says a lot about you if you can recognize these traits and express them. It also gives me a chance to figure out the best way to appreciate you. I’m not here to heal you. But I can love you through it.
Make mistakes, learn lessons and become a better version of yourself. This is my journey. Who is that better version of you? I want to take people by storm. I want to feel with all my heart and love like I have never been hurt. I’m done with hiding. I hope we can all find that version of us. Wise. Fearless. Confident. Warrior.
Today’s Mantra:
I AM releasing beliefs and patterns based on fear. I AM open to new ways of being and responding from love.

Here is a song that has been in my head all day and wanted to share it with someone. Link is below.
Let’s love each other a bit more today.
